Seriously. I have a college degree and I WISH I would have had access to information about this when I was younger. If you haven't grabbed my free e-book yet check it out.

Get a door to door sales job - career advice from a college graduate

Many young people view college or trade school as the only path to a successful career. But think for a minute about how you define success - and what you actually want your life to be like in the future... Personally I define success as being comfortable and happy, doing things with your time that you enjoy instead of working at a job you tolerate to get money to pay for your life. I define success as being able to do whatever you want and not truly not worrying about how you're going to pay for it. I want to have enough money so I don't need to worry about getting money anymore. But college doesn't get you there. The way to accomplish that isn't by working in any "normal" career where can work really hard, be really smart, say and do all the right things, but you are at the mercy of the employer, the job market, or the economy - which are factors that basically make upward mobility impossible.

However, there is a way to earn high income and its actually pretty simple. Just not very many people are willing to do it, and when people do research theres a lot of misconceptions and bad information online. That's one of the reasons I started this blog. Because if I had just known this in high school I would be a multi-millionaire by my early 30s. So I hope any younger people reading this will take my advice.

If you want to become a baller learn door to door sales. If you want to be broke and desperate go to college.

There are many benefits to door-to-door (D2D) sales SPECIFICALLY in catastrophic restoration... that make it a way better career option than virtually every "normal job" a person can get. Door-to-door sales has low overhead costs, does not require any expensive equipment or extensive training, and can provide quick financial results.

Door to door sales jobs let you make $10,000+ a month right out of high school, or even during high school.

While a college degree may give you access to some career fields like becoming a lawyer or medical service provider, it takes years of expensive education and tens of thousands of hours of class work before you can actually start earning money in those fields.

Door-to-door sales is a skill that can be learned in a day or two and does not require years of schooling. In fact, many successful door-to-door salespeople have no formal education beyond high school. With door-to-door sales, you can start earning money immediately instead of waiting to graduate from college or trade school.

The income potential of D2D sales is just as high as being a lawyer or doctor. To make $200,000+ a year you have to work a lot harder, but it is possible. There are plenty of examples of people who made half a million or a million dollars in a year just selling door to door with the right company. But those people work from sunrise to sunset and have relentless work ethic. They studied the science of door to door sales and bio-hacked themselves with proper nutrition to be able to sustain working all day.

Most people (average or rookies) in D2D sales work just a few hours in the afternoon to make thousands a week.

Climate change will continue to create lots of new opportunities.

1. There's an increasing demand for hail restoration services. As mentioned above, natural disasters are becoming more common, which means there's more work than ever before for those in the catastrophic restoration industry.

When tens of thousands of vehicles and homes are damaged, theres just no way that a few local companies can fix all that damage. There are so many customers that it would take years for one company just to get to them all. So when you go to a newly storm affected area it's really easy to find a lot of people with damage. You just have to be willing to live on the road for months at a time to chase these opportunities. Often housing is provided, or you make your housing costs back in a day depending what your commission plan looks like.

2. The barriers to entry are low. Unlike many other industries, you don't need a college degree or years of experience to get started in catastrophic restoration. You don’t need to invest in any tools either.

All you need is a car and insurance. I also recommend getting an electric scooter, although before scooters were invented people were still successful at this job.

You can come out to a storm and get free housing, and net 10-20 grand in a month***

*** Claims about the lucrative nature of this job are going to depend on your work ethic and your determination to succeed. Nothing good comes easily and you are going to have to fight for it. Sales is a skill with a learning curve and not everyone "gets it" right away. It takes time and facing a lot of rejection and failure before you learn what works and what doesn't. This is something that every D2D salesperson must face and overcome in the beginning to develop confidence and be able to close sales.

The biggest challenge new people in the industry face isn't the sales aspect. Sales really isn't that difficult. People fail because they DONT KNOW WHAT TO SAY, and CANT ANSWER PEOPLES QUESTIONS. So you need the KNOWLEDGE of this industry and how the insurance restoration process works, to be able answer questions people have.

My Hail Contractor Masterclass is designed to teach you everything so you can already know the information and skip weeks of trying and failing because you don't know what to say.

Sure you can make $1000 a week if you barely work at all and put in minimal effort. But those aren't the kind of people I'm looking to hire. I want someone with relentless dedication to their own success that wants to make six figures in a summer. Someone that will work really hard to become better at sales or put in more time "on the doors" and is ready experience enough rejection where you grow into a stronger closer because of it.

3. You can make a great living. When done correctly this industry is your path to permanent financial stability.

Unlike a traditional job, you're not limited by the number of hours you can work, or when you are on the schedule. You can work whenever you want, which means you can easily fit your work schedule around your life instead of the other way around.
